Mildred M. Mize, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away March 7, 2015. She was born February 25, 1934, in Davidson County, TN, to her parents, James Marshall Harris and Bertha Jane Elkins.

She was reared in the Lick Creek community of Williamson County, TN. Mildred married Paul R. Mize in Indianapolis and they were blessed with 45 beautiful years of marriage. Together they owned a mowing business and worked side-by-side for over 40 years.

Mildred maintained her membership in the Bending Chestnut Baptist Church of Williamson County, TN for over 55 years, and attended the Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Indianapolis for many years.

Her survivors include her husband, Paul R. Mize; daughters, Darlene (Jene) Anderson of Lebanon, IN and Diane (Randy) Mann of Indianapolis, IN; and son, Charles (Linda Cook) Wilkerson of Indianapolis, IN; also survived by her grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Her sister, Everna Anglin, is the only surviving child of ten children born to their parents.

Mildred was preceded in death by her sons, Roy Dale Burns (1956) and Kirby Neil Burns (2009); her parents and 9 siblings.
