She is survived by her husband, Jim Rhoten of Hurley, Mo.; one son, Travis Beam of Waukee; two step-sons, Sam Rhoten of Redfield and Jack Rhoten of West Moines; two step-daughters, Linda Smithson of Redfield and Connie Sloss of Adel; one sister, Pam Chance of Dallas Center, one brother, Gary chance of Portage, Maine, and 10 grandchildren.
