Mrs. Fred Cox died Tuesday afternoon at her home in East Newport, aged 33 years, 7 months and 27 days, after being ill about a year of Bright's disease. In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children: Walter, Orvilla, Orpha, Junior, Louella, Daisy and William. Mrs. Cox was a very active worker in the East Newport Church of God, being a member of the choir as well as of all the auxiliary organizations of their church and was a faithful christian and ardent worker. She was a member of Newport Lodge, Sons and Daughters of Liberty. Brief services will be held at her former home this afternoon with further services in the East Newport church, and burial in Newport Cemetery. The fraternal organizations of which she was a member, will have charge of the services at the grave.
