Cassavant died Thursday, August 20, 1959, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services 9 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew's Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery.

Former owner of the Cassa-Minn, he moved to Phoenix in 1947 and purchased the Sun Valley Court, 2309 Westward (Buckeye), where the family now lives. He had been active the last four years as a real estate broker, and had operated the Cassavant Trailer Sales. He was a member of the Arizona Small Mines Association and was a Past President of the Minnesota Club of Phoenix.

Survivors are his wife, Alice Marie Julie Brisson, two daughters: Mrs. Helmuth Otto Ponath #165359836 (Sylvia F. Thorsen #205265169), Page, and Carol Ann Cassavant, Phoenix; four sons: Harry E. Cassavant, Jr., Mahtomedi, MN, James, Joseph, and Jerry, Phoenix; his parents, Albert J. "A.J." Cassavant and Clara (Masterman/Mastermann/Masterton) Cassavant, White Bear Lake, MN; two sisters and two brothers, all out of State.

At age 18, Harry was married on November 25, 1920, St. John Church, Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, to:
Alice Marie Julie Brisson.
