MRS. ALICE ROMSHE, 85, CLAIMED BY DEATH
Mrs. Alice Louise Romshe, 85, was claimed by death at 5:15 p.m.
on Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Frank, Wapakoneta
Route 4, following an extended illness. Born May 21, 1864 in
Duchouquet township, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah
Sprague Winget and had been a lifelong resident of this county.
On October 11, 1883, she married William Romshe, who died March
28, 1932. Three children and a brother also preceeded her in death.
Surviving are two children, W. E. Romshe of Wapakoneta Route 4
and Mrs. Fred Frank , at whose home she died; three sisters, Mrs.
Mary Hooker, Mrs. Iva Jackson and Mrs. Ada Vanderlinden, all of Big
Rapids, Mich,; two grand-daughters and three great grand-daughters.
Mrs. Romshe was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical and
Reformed church of Wapakoneta.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday from the
Bayliff funeral home, Cridersville, where the body will remain until
after the services. The Rev. R. J. Loew, pastor of St. Paul's church,
will officiate, and burial is to be in St. Matthews cemetery, near
Cridersville.
