Ruth was born in Phenix, Alabama on February 18, 1919 and passed away on March 1, 2015 at Sequoia Hospital.

She was married to a Fort Benning Soldier: Arron Townsend. She raised 2 children: David and the late Mary, 3 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

She belonged to the screen Actors Guild, did modeling and movie bit parts. Her profession was in banking and worked in San Francisco and San Mateo.

Ruth married Robert Page in 1997. She was involved with her clubs and loved to volunteer at the V.A. Hospital in Menlo Park with Bob for many years. Her clubs included Rebekahs, Am. Legion Aux., V.F.W. Aux, Redwood City Women's Club, San Carlos Women's Club, United Daughters of the Confederacy, plus many more.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4pm-9pm at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA. 94061. A private burial will take place at the Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, California.
