Later married Wilbur R. Decker October 8, 1938 at Lafayette. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include daughters Sharon (Don) Perkins and Joan McCloud; sister Opal Cathey; 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by son David Nelson and daughter Janet Nelson.
Attended New Market schools.
Worked for 36 years at Sommer Metalcraft, 20 years as supervisor in the Oven Racks Department.
She was a 62-year member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and Bid Euchre.
Services 2pm Saturday, March 7 at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home. Visitation noon until time of service.
