The Frichtl family recently lost the most beautiful member of their family. Dianne Edla Frichtl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She passed away quietly, surrounded by loved ones, on February 19, shortly after suffering a stroke.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ron; and three children: Laura Dahl of Easley, South Carolina, Paul Frichtl of Seattle, and Theresa Biagioli of Midlothian, Virginia. She also had six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Dianne was born April 28, 1935 to Tilden W. Randall and Gertrude Luepke Randall and graduated from Vancouver High School.
She spent many of her years serving the Vancouver community. She served as director on boards for Southwest Washington hospitals and for Clark College. She served on the board of the Bank of Vancouver and on the community advisory board for The Columbian newspaper.
Dianne was a third-generation florist at Luepke Florist, which she owned and operated with Ron from 1969 to 2004.
Dianne was a great lover of books. Her family requests that friends and loved ones support their public libraries.
