Doris J. Gordon, 84, of Syracuse, IN passed away on March 2, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on August 2, 1930 in Nappanee, IN to Arthur Wagner and Florence (Journey) Snyder. On December 31, 1946 she married Eugene Gordon who preceded her in 1999.
She lived most of her life in Syracuse coming from Nappanee in 1945.
Doris is survived by her 2 sons – Michael (Pam) Gordon of Greensburg, IN and Brent (Jody) Gordon of Syracuse. 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters – Alice (Tom) Kruger of North Webster and Grace Wagner of Syracuse. 2 brothers – Mark Wagner of Richmond, IN and Steve Wagner of Elkhart, IN.
She was preceded by her daughter Theresa Kitson, 1 sister, and 1 brother.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 3-7 pm at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
