Funeral services for Mrs. Niels Hanson were held in the Kinyon's Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl Longfellow of the Baptist Church was in charge and Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Clara Jane Graham was born at Morning sun, Ohio, Oct. 8, 1858, and came to Dakota Territory with her parents in 1883. Dec, 14, 1887, she was married to Niels Hanson at St. Lawrence, S.D., and they established their home in Spring lake Township, Hand County, where they lived until moving to Huron in 1906. Dec. 14, 1937, Mr and Mrs Hanson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Mrs Hanson united with the First Baptist Church of Huron in 1911.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. R.G. Burger and a son, C.H. Hanson both of Huron. Two sisters, Mrs. William Mahany and Mrs. Edna Johnson of Aberdeen and four nephews also survive her. A Sister, Mrs. Hattie Westmire and a brother, Price Graham, preceded her in death
