Arella V. Yeager, age 92 of Clintonville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Shawano Medical Center following a sudden brief illness.

Arella was born on February 19, 1923 at her family’s home just south of Clintonville. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Brakob) Yeager. Arella worked as a nurse’s aide for 35 years at Clintonville Community Hospital and retired in 1988. She was a faithful member of St. Martin Lutheran Church for many years. She looked forward to spending time playing cards and visiting with friends at the Senior Center in Clintonville on a regular basis. Arella enjoyed taking care of her pets and flower gardens over the years and loved spending time with her family, especially when it came to boat rides with them. She was very self-sufficient, relied on her faith, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include: Her son: Don (Jeanne) Yeager, Clintonville.

Grandchildren: Jessica (Dr. Brent) Meier, Rochester, MN.

Ryan Yeager, Appleton.

Great-Grandchildren: Grace Meier & Jeremiah Yeager.

Arella was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Orville Yeager, and sisters; Malinda Jannusch & Viola Gierzycki.

Arella’s funeral service will be held Sunday March 8, 2015 at 1:30 PM at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Christian Burg officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, in the spring.
