Minnie Alice Kemp, the oldest of four children born to Charles Bingley "Squire" Kemp (1843-1927) and Martha Lester (1851-1892).
At the age of 29, on 6 April 1897, Minnie married James William Wells (1867-1938) in Greene County, Indiana. (James Wells' first wife, Lillie Mae King Wells (1870-1895) had died a few years earlier leaving two small children:
1) Claude Cecil Wells (1888-1949) and 2) Zoe H. Wells (1892-1970).
Minnie and James Wells had three children - all girls:
1) Edith Frances Wells Bailey (1898-1950);
2) Nellie Ephel Wells Mannan (1900-190); and
3) Mildred Mary Wells (1903-1976).
Would welcome any and all communications with descendants of this family which I have been researching with my girlfriend for 20+ years.
