The 1900 Webster, Smith County, KS Census lists Thomas Gibson, 40, with wife "Russia", 35, married eight years. The children: Bessie M, 7; Walter S, 5; William D, 3; Gertie S, 1; and Fredrick H, newborn. All of the children were born in Kansas.
In 1920 Thomas, 61, and May, 45, are living at Lincoln, Butler County, KS with children: Walter, 25; Anna, 15; Clyde, 13; and Edna, 10 (born in Maysville, OK). Thomas' father William E Gibson, 84, is also living with the family.
The 1930 Payette County, ID Census has Thomas J, 70, and May R, 55. They are farming with Sylvester Jackson, 45, boarder, living with them.
I am guessing the couple moved to the Dade County area to be near their daughters Anna Clark and Bessie Cummings of Walnut Grove.
Thomas died at age 77 from Valvular Heart Disease. Mrs. Bessie Cummings is the informant on his MO Death Certificate.
