Luella (Rush) Walters, 91, passed away at Bloomington Hospital. She was the daughter of Thomas and Maude (Clair) Rush. She had been married to Roy Jacob (Sam) Walter, who passed away Oct. 17, 1996. She was a homemaker and also worked at RCA and Indiana University in Bloomington. She was a member of the Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary Post 450. Survivors include a son David and his wife Carol of Bloomfield, a daughter Jeannie Walters-Johnson of Solsberry, grandsons Dennis Walters, Rob N. Johnson and his wife Autumn, Ryan Combs, James Baukat, Justin Baukat and Sean Baukat. Grandaughters Cheryl Walters-Oldfield and her husband Claude, Tracy Johnson and her husband Jeff. Six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Kenneth who was killed in Vietnam, a daughter Cindy Walters-Baukat, a sister Thelma Newton and three brothers, Carl, Curtis and Wayne. Burial will be in Bingham Cemetery Tuesday, July 19, 2005.
