Balding
Mrs. Sarah Balding, pioneer in Butler county, died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock at the home of her son, John Balding in Augusta. Mrs. Balding was 86 years old, born in Terre Haute, Ind., she came to Butler county with her husband in 1873. Her husband died January 28, 1902, ten years to a day before her. She had been sick and in feeble condition for several months. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Barnes, of Kansas City; Wm. Balding, of Butler county; L.W. Balding, of Joplin, Mo.; Mrs. Alice Ridell, of Hutchinson; John Balding, of Augusta.
