Aiden Marvin Highley, Sr., tall, blue eyes, brown hair, lived to the age of 80 years. His residence at time of his death was at 4208 Santo Tomas Drive in the Baldwin Hills community of Los Angeles, California.


He was the Michigan representative for MacMillan Company publishers for more than 40 years.


A memorial service was conducted at his home with Chaplain Clinton A. Neyman of the University of Southern California officiating. Interment took place at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio.


He was survived by his widow, Jane, whom he married in 1908; son Aiden Marvin Highley, Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Miriam Kooker of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Anne Glas of Eloise, Michigan; a sister, Inez Highley, of Converse, Indiana; and a brother, Preston Highley of Indianapolis, Indiana.
