Eugenia Turner, 88, of Dallas, passed away in Houston on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
Interment at Perrin Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 8, 1926, in Jack County, Texas. Eugenia worked for Republic National Life Insurance in Dallas for 40 years before retiring. Eugenia had a love for sewing for her nieces and nephews. During her retirement, she enjoyed painting, and it always reflected her love for Texas.
She accepted Christ at a young age at Sparks Springs 2nd Advent Christian Church. She was an active member of Grace Temple Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She moved to Houston in 2014 to be cared for by her niece, Paula.
Eugenia was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Eugenia Lee Turner; brothers, Arvil, R.B. and Ides Turner; and sisters, O’Letta Willard and Irlene Turner.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Dodson, of Jack County; her sister-in-law, Othela Turner, of Jack County; and by many loving nieces and nephews.
