Dorothy V. Parker, Cherry St., Union City, Pa., went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 5, 2006. Dorothy was born December 17, 1923 in Meadville, Pa., the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Leola (Bacon) Drayer. She was a member of God's Church and attended the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church of Union City, Pa. She was a homemaker and enjoyed time spent with her friends and family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Parker, in 1995, and by a sister Mrs. Winifred Campbell in 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Marye E. Hawley of Union City, Pa., and Sharon VanTassel and her husband, Charles, of Alvin, Texas; a son, Woody Clayton, and his wife, Darlene, of Houston, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Troup of Union City, Pa.; and a step-brother, Elton Vogt of Ephrata, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
