Elmer is survived by: Wife: Beatrice Hughes; Son: Michael David Hughes; Son: Stephen Wayne (Cynthia) Hughes; Daughter: Cynthia Lynne (Jim) Herren; Son: Jeffrey Neil Hughes; Daughter: Nancy Ann Caldwell; Brothers: Jimmy Ray (Margie) Hughes and Billy Lawrence Hughes; Grandchildren: 10; Great-Grandchildren: 9. He was preceded in death by Son: Jimmy Glenn Hughes and Brother: Richard Alonzo Hughes. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hurst Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of Christ in Farmersville, Texas. Burial will follow in Van Winkle Cemetery in Climax, Texas.
