His funeral will be held at Panther Fork Baptist Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. F. L. Karn of Mount Vernon. Internment will be in the nearby Panther Fork Cemetery.
Mr. Brookman was born near Divide, June 28, 1865, the son of William H. and Harriet (Donoho) Brookman. He was married 58 years ago to Miss Martha Cochran who died in 1941.
Surviving are six sons, William, Ralph and Albertof Mount Vernon, Ivan of California, Stanley and Herman of Detroit, and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Simmons of Kell. A son Lawrence and a daughter Lena are dead. The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix until the funeral hours.
