Sometime after 1860 Isaac YORK a farmer and his wife migrated to Baldwinsville, Hunter Township. Edgar County, Illinois by 1870 apparently without their five children. He had 27 year old Harvey Lamb hired as farm laborer in the 1870 census. By June 1880 they had moved south to a new farm in the Elbridge Township of Edgar County, Illinois near Vermillion.
Their five children were all born in Randolph County, North Carolina:
1. Fannie Martitia YORK, b. 1843, d. 1917
2. Sophronia Catherine YORK, b. 1846, d or m. aft. 1860
3. Nathan Leander YORK, b. 1848, d. 1924
4. Julia YORK, b. 1850, d, bef. 1860
5. William Curtis YORK, b. 1852, d. 1932
