Mrs. George was born on August 10th, 1929, in Jackson to the late Paul and Vivian (Marshak) Whiteside. She graduated from Jackson High and worked alongside her husband Bobby George for 56 years at George's Florist. She was a long-time member of Englewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Billy); two sons, Robert (Penny), and Paul (Linda), all of Jackson; grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan), Elizabeth (Rob), Bethany, Austin, Brooke, and great-grandchildren, Alex, Eliza, Ben and John Garrett. She is also survived by a dear friend, Pam.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert E. "Bobby" George and her brother, Dr. Paul Whiteside.
