Charles Ackerman of McSherrystown, who cut his throat on Wednesday morning of last week, with suicidal intent, while laboring under an aberration of the mind superinduced by illness, died Saturady morning at 6:45 oclock. A wife and five children survive. The funeral took place on Monday morning at 9 oclock. Rev. Father Noell, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church officiated. The Catholic Beneficial Society and the Cigarmakers' Union of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body. Interment in the cemetery at Conewago Chapel.
