Roger Dale Cheser, 56, of Willisburg, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born on Nov. 30, 1958, in Lebanon. He was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church, a 1976 graduate of Washington County High School, a graduate of the Kentucky College of Technology and an employee of Hitachi Automotive of Harrodsburg.

Survivors include a son, Alex Cheser; his parents, Bobby and Mary Harmon Cheser; a sister, Rita Milburn and her husband, Brad, all of Willisburg; a brother, Larry Cheser and his wife, Debbie, of Harrodsburg; two nephews, Clay Cheser and his wife, Ann Weslin, and Will Cheser and his wife, Crissi; a niece, Missy Milburn; a great nephew and two great nieces.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 2, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, pastor of the Willisburg Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. Serving as pallbearers were Chris Reynolds, Brad Milburn, Charles Russell, Lynn Bailey, Randy Smith, Terry Cheser and Hallie Price. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or The Willisburg Cemetery Fund. Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
