Funeral services for J. B. Earthman Sr., of 1015 Bremond, who died at his home early Thursday, will be held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at Sacred Heart church, Father Jerome A. Rapp officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mr. Earthman, a fourth degree Knight of Columbus, had been in business here for the last 28 years. He was president of the J. B. Earthman company, funeral directors. Before moving to Houston he was in the undertaking business at Taylor, Texas, for 15 years.
He was born in August, 1864, at Winchester, Fayette county.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Sister M. Perpetua, O. S. D., of Austin, and Misses Jamie and Addie May Earthman of Houston, and one son, J. B. Earthman Jr.
Pallbearers will be: C. J. McCarty, P. M. Gallagher, Dr. A. Philo Howard, George A. Rick, T. G. Kenney, John B. Pendarvis, W. D. Davis, M. J. Lyons, Thomas Kehoe, John R. Young, P. J. Studert, N. L. Casperson and John McCleary.
