Richford: Ruth Bailey, age 79, of Creamery Hills, Richford, NY and formerly of Freeville, NY, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Beechtree Care Center. Born September 21, 1933 in Elmira, NY, she was a daughter of the late Mason and Nina Dunbar Morey and wife of the late John Lewis Bailey who died in 2007. Ruth worked a brief time at Smith Corona and for many years provided day care out of her home. Her family was first and foremost, caring for children and doing for others gave her greatest pleasure.

Ruth is survived by her daughters; grandchildren; great-grandson; sister; brother; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Bruce Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. and again Wednesday, from 12 noon until the service time of 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com
