Former Resident Dies
Miss Martha Adams, formerly of Hanover, died Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. [Mary] Lutter, 3723 North Fifteenth Street, Philadelphia. She was a daughter of the late John and Catherine Adams, Hanover. Surviving her are one brother, Joseph Adams, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs C. [Mary] Lutter, with whom she was residing and Mrs. F. J. [Gertrude] Lutter, 136 McAllister Street, Hanover.

W. A. Feiser, funeral director, left this morning for Philadelphia to bring the body to Hanover. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning form the home of her sister, F. J. [Gertrude] Lutter, McAllister Street, with services at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Baltimore Street. Burial will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body may be viewed Tuesday evening at the Lutter home, McAllister Street.

She had been married to Charles F. Harkins but divorced. She went back to her maiden name. The date of the marriage was November 20, 1894.
