Alfred C. Ahrens, Jr., age 88 of Austin, TX passed away February 24, 2015.
Alfred was born in Stonewall, Texas, was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a friend to all that met him.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, but mostly being with the people he played with on the course.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alma and Alfred Ahrens; brothers, Alvin and Chester; and granddaughter, Hannah Ahrens.
Survivors are his wife of 62 years Dorothy Ahrens, son Dennis Ahrens and his wife Caroline; grandchildren Kira and Zackery and Alfred's sisters Tillie Hahne and Berthie Weirich.
