Cora owned a business called the "Thomas Office Service." In 1950 they occupied the entire 16th floor of 22 Marietta Street. From 1929 to 1931 she was in the old Peachtree Arcade, which is gone now. Her business provided office services for businessmen. It seems like it was quite a successful venture.
Cora and Lucy were in business together at least into their 60's. An article said they were trying to build a 26 unit apartment building near Flamingo Dr in 1950 and the neighbors were fighting the zoning.
Cora lived at 643 Holderness St in West End when she died.
