Mary Morris, daughter of Edwin Bromley and Alice Jane (Betton) Bromley was born May 7, 1916 in Church Stretton, England and passed from this life Monday, June 23, 2014 at Westview Acres Care Center, Leon, IA. at 98 years of age.When Mary was four, her father traveled to the United States for work showing sheep for a gentleman in Chariton. The family soon followed traveling by ship to Canada and then on to the states and settled near Chariton.Mary was united in marriage to Orval Samuel Morris on December 13, 1937 at Osceola, Iowa and three sons and one daughter, Dennis Dwayne, Darrel LaVere, Carl Keith and Linda Joyce blessed this union.Mary loved to cook and prepare food, she would bake bread and give it away to family and friends. She liked to work with her flowers and garden.
