Ida Florence Eaton married George Dehner on September 19, 1880, in Lewis County, MO. They resided in Canton, MO for at least 20 years before moving to Decatur City, IL. George and Ida had two sons: Clyde E., born January 15, 1882, died April 18, 1949; and Roy H., born February 27, 1886, died September 25, 1886. The following death notice appeared in the April 8, 1936 issue of the Terre Haute Tribune:

Mrs. Ida F. Dehner, 76 years old, died Tuesday evening at the residence of her son, C. E. Dehner, 420 South Eighteenth street. Besides the son she is survived by two brothers, James P. and Thomas Eaton, both of Canton, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Irene Baker, of Decatur, Ill. The body was taken to the Gillis Funeral home and later returned to the residence of the son, where short funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The body will then be returned to the Gillis Funeral chapel where continued services will be held at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial park.
