Mrs. Elizabeth Bryan was born at Stonerstown in the year 1810 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Rightnour, in Johnstown, August 6, 1900. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Shaw. She was married to Seth Bryan, who died in 1885. Mrs. Bryan was the mother of twelve children, three of whom are living — Mrs. Bruce Gibb, of Philadelphia; Mrs. W. J. Rightnour, of Johnstown, and Alfred Bryan, of near Stonerstown, Her remains were taken to Saxton on Wednesday. The deceased was a life-long member of the Lutheran church.
