She was born July 25, 1921 in Greenwood, WI., the daughter of Albert and Ellen Herr.
Dolores was self-employed at Modern Manufacturing Metal Spinning Company, an independent truck driver, along with her husband and caregiver for over twenty-two years.
Mrs. Keating was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Surviving are her three daughters, Danielle Goldberg (husband, Sy), Wellington FL., Marge Stahl (husband, Forest) and Ellen Thomas (husband, Rod) all of Muncie; two sons, Francis Keating (wife, Michelle), Muncie and Ramon Keating (wife, Gayle), Albany; eight grandchildren, Brandon Thomas (wife, Amy), Joseph Thomas, Rodney Thomas (wife, Amy), Lynn Simes (husband Doug), Edward Sherman Jr. (wife, Suzie), Terry Sherman Sr., Jennifer Gaddis (husband, David) and Ginger Staufenbeil (husband, Ryan); sixteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel Keating Jr., and five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Dennis Goth presiding. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
