He was a commercial loan representative for American Fletcher Mortgage Co. two years, and a member of the American Society of Appraisers and the Toledo Board of Realtors. Mr. Holtgreive was a secretary of the West Toledo Lions Club, and served in the U.S. Navy.
A graduate of St. Frances DeSales High School and the University of Detroit, he also attended the University of Toledo. He was a member of Rosary Cathedral.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene; son, Peter D.; daughter, Jennifer Anne; mother, Mrs. Theresa Holtgreive; sisters, Mrs. Mary Louise Okley, Mrs. Carol McNeil and Mrs. Ellen McFadden, and brothers William A., James F., and Robert J.
