Pennington Gap, VA Samuel Eddie Simpson of Pennington Gap, VA was born Monday September 5, 1960 in Norton, VA and passed away On Tuesday February 17, 2015 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA at the age of 54 years. He had been a construction worker before becoming disabled. He loved all sports and enjoyed listening to the radio. He was preceded in death by his adopted mother Daisy Anderson. Sam is survived by his brother, Lewis Simpson of Pennington Gap, VA. One son Steven Simpson of Pennington Gap, VA; two daughters, Belinda Simpson of Pennington Gap and Monica Simpson-Taylor and husband T.J. of Dryden, VA. Three grandchildren; Jada Simpson of Big Stone Gap, VA: Javin Bryant and Maliyah Wallen both of Pennington Gap, VA. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 24 from 12 noon until service time. Funeral services will conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sturgill Funeral Home in Pennington Gap with Rev.
