William Cecil Ramsey, 81, died at home on February 21, 2015. He was born on October 12, 1933 to Grover and Lillian Dillahunty Ramsey in Horatio, Arkansas.

His family includes his wife of 17 years Barbara Ramsey; children Kelly (Donald) Moes, Lisa (Rick) Ekstrom, William Cecil Ramsey, Jr.; stepchildren Kathleen (Vance) Mattis, Colleen (David) Taylor, David (Christine) Sheridan; grandchildren Shannon, Ricky, Connor, Nikki, Reese; step grandchildren Tommy, Sarah, Emily, David, David, Jr.; and step great grandchild Cobie.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda and brother Leslie Ovia Ramsey.

For over 30 years he worked for the Department of Defense in Pensacola, FL and at Pensacola Christian College for five years where he loved working with the students.

Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory St., Melbourne, FL.

Military honors will be accorded when he is laid to rest with his first wife Wanda, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL on Thursday, February 25, 2015 at 1:15 pm.
