"Mrs. Bertha Marie McCubbin, 48, wife of Clayton McCubbin, 709 Vander avenue, York, after finishing a large family wash, was taken seriously ill at 12:30 o'clock Monday afternoon and died in the kitchen of her home before medical aid could reach her.
"Dr. L.U. Zech, York County coroner, was summoned and signed the death certificate giving the cause of death as coronary thrombosis.
"Surviving her besides her husband are six children, one brother, and five sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Edith Brightner of Abbottstown."
