MINDEN - Mrs. Mary Rowland Hurley, 81, died Friday in the P&S Hospital in Shreveport following a short illness. She was a native of Arkansas but has lived in the Minden area most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday in the Green-Kleinegger Chapel with the Rev. Johnnie W. Adkins Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Cemetery in Stamps, Ark.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl M. Metcalf of Fort Worth Tex. and Mrs. Thomas M. Walker of Clinton; three sons, Wallace H. Hurley and Warren S. Hurley, both of Bossier City and Sam H. Hurley of El Paso Tex; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
