Vergie Gosnell Prickett, 85, of Cisco, stepmother of Frances Blair of Granbury, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, in Brownwood.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery.
She was born October 29, 1922 in Quail, Texas. She graduated from Quail High School in 1941. She married Loyd Preston Gosnell in Wellington, Texas on December 13, 1941.
After moving to Cisco in 1946, Loyd died in 1953. She married John Prickett in 1973 and he died in 1979.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cisco.
Other survivors are a son and spouse, Don and Debbie Gosnell; and numerous grandchildren, stepchildren and step grandchildren.
