HEREFORD (Special) - Services for Earl Wayne Head, 73, of Amarillo will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Rose Chapel, Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Powell, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

He died at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday at Northwest Texas Hospital at Amarillo after an illness.

He was born Jan. 13, 1910, in Salem, Mo. He married Ruth Cain Oct. 10, 1945, at Marble, Ark. She died in 1969. They moved to Potter county from Hereford in 1966. He was a rancher.

Head was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Kirland of Lubbock and LaVera Light of Renton, Wash.; two sons, Frank of Holland and James of Santa Ana, Calif.; three sisters, Margaret McIlroy of Dallas, Myrna Smith of Hindsville, Ark., and Gladys Clark of Lincoln, Ark.; two brothers, Lloyd of Bellflower, Calif., and Glen of Huntsville, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren.
