Mr. Taft H. Ellis, age 77 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday Feb. 20, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dellis and Margaret Ellis, sisters, Aileen Mathis, Winnie Patterson, brothers, D.L. "Buck" Ellis, Ralph Ellis, and Robert Ellis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Ellis, children and spouses, Jeffery and Donna Ellis, Gwendolyn and Jeremy Harden, and Gregory Ellis all of Chatsworth. Grandchildren, Shawna Ellis, Alex Ellis, Jeremy "JJ" Harden, Taft Harden, and Emmalyn Harden all of Chatsworth. Brother and sister in law, Charlie and Mary Ellis, sister and brother in law, Magalynn and Robert Youell and Joyce Bryant all of Chatsworth. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Monday 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bobby Green and David Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.
