Germain was born in about 1646, as he was 25 on the 1971 census. He married Andree Brun (her 1st husband) in about 1668, in Port-Royal, Acadie. They are the parents of at least the following:
1) Germain (1669-1750) md Anne Pellerin
2) Pierre (1671-) md Marie Bourg
3) Catherine (1673-) md Martin Aucoin

According to the 1671 Census of Port Royal:
Germain Terriau, farmer, age 25
Andree Brun, age 25
Germain, age 2
5 cattle
2 sheep
2 arpents [of land]
