Jacob Hall Hanawalt, 80, of 467 Evans Rd., died at 11:15 p.m. Friday at Marion General Hospital. He was born to Levi Hanawalt of Mount Cory and Loretta Adams Hanawalt of Harlem on May 23, 1881, in Harlem.

He was married August 12, 1909 to Alice Linstedt, who survives. Mr. Hanawalt was a retired machinist at the Osgood Co.. He was a member of the Oakland EUB Church and attended the Pathfinders Sunday School Class.

Surviving besides his widow are four children, Grant W. and Nolan L., both of Mansfield, Mrs. Charles (Esther) Chappell and Harold H. Hanawalt, of Marion; three grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at the Hughes-Hyll Mortuary with Rev. H. V. Falor officiating. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
