Georgia Ruth Groover, age 89, of Canton, GA passed away February 18, 2015 at Hidden Lakes Assisted Living Facility. Miss Groover enjoyed work, retirement and volunteer work for MUST Ministries. She was a member of the Merrymakers Sunday School Class.

Funeral services were held in the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Williams and Rev. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment was at Cherokee Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by all her siblings: Ruby Drummond, Wynelle Byers, Eloise Pruitt and Willard Groover. Survivors include nieces and nephews JoAnn and Kenneth Motte, Linda and Danny Bruce, James and Barbara Drummond, Gail and Bob Pope, David and Faye Byers, Willard and Luma Byers, Marie Gravitt, Jimmy and Mita Byers, Homer Byers, Barbara and Freddie Wilson, Kenneth and Sue Pruitt; several great nieces and nephews; several great great nieces and nephews; and one great, great, great niece.
