Adrian N. "Naty" Montemayor, Jr., 72, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2001.
Mr. Montemayor was a clerk for many years at Laredo Lumber Supply and City Lumber Co. He was well known throughout the community and with builders. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a devoted father and grandfather. His quiet strength and love touched many people.
He was a baseball enthusiast, he loved all sports.
Heis survived by his daughter, Mrs. Carlos D. (Sylvia) Lopez of Laredo; mother, Mrs. Delfina R. Montemayor, of Laredo; 3 grandchildren, Lisa, Carlos Daniel and Christie Denize; brothers, Alfredo V. (Hortencia) Montemayor of Laredo, Javier (Catalina) Montemayor, of Laredo; sisters, Mrs. J.J. (Josie) Perez, of Laredo; Mrs. Delia Ayala, of Laredo, Mrs. Magdalena Gunnoe, of Brownsville.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 8, 2001, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Nieto Dickey and Lopez Chapel with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2001 at 8:30 a.m.
from Nieto Dickey and Lopez funeral directors to San Martin de Porres Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m.
Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
