Mother of Luther, Buford, Houston, John T., Mary Ellen Sheffield, Flora Duncan Bowman, Lora Eubank, Maude Lane, and Clarissa Opal Lane.∼She was the oldest child of Jordan and Mary Strode and the first of seven to pass away.She was the widow of John T. Butler,Sr. She had been in ill health for several yrs.She is survived by,Luther, Buford ,Huston, and John T. Jr.daughters are;Mrs Jimmie Sheffield,Mrs Clyde Lane and Tina Butler,and Mrs Ottie Eubank.Two daughters, Mrs F A Bowman and Mrs. Cecil Hale preceded her in death.
