"Leslie Daniel Johnson, 95, of Willcox, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015, in Willcox. He was born in Electra, Texas on December 15, 1919. He was a long time resident of Abernathy, Texas where he farmed for many years. A private memorial will be held in Abernathy, Texas on February 28, 2015.. He is survived by his four daughters, Lera Davees of Brady, Texas, Linda Olsen of Sunsites, Arizona, Leslie Fielding of Round Rock, Texas and Chele (Temple) Brewer of Willcox, Arizona and a younger brother Leroy (Mary Lou) Davis of Arkansas and a younger sister Verbena Davis of Arkansas and his brother-in-law Donald ( Myrt) Ensey. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dessie Lera, his daughter Betty Cox Clark, an older brother George Johnson, a younger brother Marshall Davis, a younger adopted brother Lindsey Robert “Sonny” Davis , a younger sister Ila Mae Miller. His mother Willie Mae Davis, his father Albert Johnson, a great grandchild John David Cox,his second wife Iris Johnson, and 2 son-in-laws David Cox and Joe Olsen also preceded him in death."
