Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home following a valiant battle with multiple illnesses.

Diane was born in Salt Lake City to William George and Evylyn Olive Pedler Shelton. She graduated from Olympus High in 1955.

She married Robert Melvin Ince in May 1956; later divorced. She married the love of her life, Jack Dotson, in October 1986; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed twenty-three years of travel and adventure together.

She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church, where she enriched many lives through music and piano.

Survived by her children, Paul Ince, Peggi Ince-Whiting, Ken (Jill) Ince, Bill (Bonnie) Ince, Brent (Jolene) Dotson, Lloyd (Candy) Dotson, and Von (Lisa) Dotson; son-in-law, Brent Cummings; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kailynne Cummings; and sister, Marvetta Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cannon Ninth Ward Chapel, 1250 West 1400 South, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
