Larry T. Bishop (88), born on October 6, 1926 in Washington, Vt., passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. He was stationed at Fort Bliss in 1957 where he retired after 20 years. He was the proud father of 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls. Larry enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, and raising animals at the ranch. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Brad Bishop and Joel Bishop. Larry is survived by his wife, Rejeanne, of 62 years and 8 children, Teddy Bishop, Andy Bishop, Lonnie Bishop, Laurie Dorsey, Julie Bishop, Carol Bishop, Jeanette Job, and Aimee Bishop; his 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Memorial Service at 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas. Services under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME, 1060 Carolina 598-3332.
