Wilma Ruth Glorioso “Nana”
Wilma passed away February 15, 2015 at her home in Parkville, Mo at the age of 90. She was born in the Braymer-Black Oak area on December 6, 1924 to parents Claude and Grace Wheeler. She married Joe Glorioso on December 31, 1971 in Las Vegas. Wilma spent her life as a hair stylist making all of her clients beautiful. She owned several salons in the northland area of Kansas City until she retired at the age of 80. She loved to travel with her husband Joe and especially enjoyed the family reunions in the Lake Tahoe area. But more than anything she loved her family and had a great influence on her grand and great grandchildren. Nana, as we all called her enjoyed a full life and was so loved. We will miss her dearly but rejoice knowing that she is reunited with her other loved ones that have gone before her. Parents, Claude & Grace Wheeler, ½ sister Chlora Vanlanding, ½ brother William E Wheeler and daughter Ann & son in law Gary Dugger.
Wilma is survived by her husband Joe of the home, brother Bill (Katie) Wheeler KCMO; Sister Ramona Kelley of Lake Ozark, Mo; Sons Bruce (Judy) Clevenger Braymer, Mo and Ray (MaryAnn) Clevenger Gallatin, Mo; step son Steve (Regina) Glorioso KCMO; Grandchildren Greg (Terry) Clevenger Cowgill, Mo; Gary (Heather) Gladstone, Mo; Todd Clevenger Smithville, Mo; Kim (Kyle) Conkling KCMO; Danny Clevenger Gallatin, Mo; Kathleen (Mark) Smerchek Parkville, Mo; Kristine (Billy) Courtney Parkville, Mo, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
